I want to say one thing here. I don't understand those people who are against such a topic. This topic is related to an research that has been performed at a well distinguished university. So I don't see any reason why this topic is so difficult for some people. You can't ignore that people are doing research on all these domains.

De machtigste vrouwen in Vlaanderen

Post by SN30952 »

International Womensday is on 8 March.
Looking forward to see posting of women aviation intrest on that day (and others).

For Belgian readers:

Hellow,

This is quite a funny topic in various views.

This is my thought for this matter (just what I think and therefor not perfectly scientifically guarantied and it could contain some failures :))

First of all, I thought it was proven that male and female brains do work different. But that doesn't mean that women brains are less useful as that of men. They difference is the way of handling the brain's input. And it is also that it has been proven earlier that a gay brain (funny to say it like this :)) is working closely the same way as the female brain does. I saw once on TV that there should be even a genetic difference between straight men and gay men. And that this was resulting in a part of the brain developing a little less compared to straight men. Research was made and female brains have the same less developed part, so gay brains look like female's. But so far the scientific.

The difference in brain, the so called 'less developed part' makes it only more beautiful. The female brain (or male brain, depends how you are viewing this) works on a (slight) different way but the big thing is that they do the same things eventually. Ok it could be that statistics say that women are weaker in orientation compared to men, but that's maybe some weak part of their brainfunction. We man have also weak things. Just a small example: Man do fall asleep after an orgasm, and that's the brain reacting on the orgasm and it releases some chemical solution so we fall asleep. So we both have our failures.

Now wether a pilot is gay, straight, female or lesbian, they all did make it but on their own (f***ing :P) way! (And they do have the honour to fly and they do earn the big $$ and we don't ;))

Some other part of this topic became the discussability of this and some people are almost furious about it. Why not? Straight or gay, we are all humans, only a little different. And we have to accept it, because to all homophobians: You're in the middle of it so accept it or you're so f***ed. :) But how can this be so difficult. They are just people who did find the love they were seeking for, No?

Cheers

That opens ways to investigate on this. That 1 in 12?
And does that famous brain cause young men to die more in accidents than other humans of the same age?

Again, my question (in other words  ). The best pilots are the ones that make the fewest (big) mistakes?

And Bounder, why small?
Falling asleep in flight is a risk for everybody, even on EK...
