That's what he said, he also knows that the UA is a regular one...Robin_Bamps wrote:UA 950 is the daily flight operated by a 763. The 772 with the press is an extra flight (and not a passenger flight), so she will probably not appear on the BIAC Arrival page.

APRON 3? can an aircraft of that size dock at apron 3?
the only good view of that apron is on the roof of front park 2, in the main building right under the old tower (restricted area but witha bit of luck you won't get caught.) Or outside the airport next to the 25L, which could also mean that he will be landing on that runway also...

Of course, don't you remember Sabena? Apron 3 is the oldest apron, from the Sabena 747 era 8)druptown wrote:APRON 3? can an aircraft of that size dock at apron 3?

There are 3 United Airlines-flights sheduled for tomorrow :
B767-300 :
20/02 04:35 SanFrancisco via Washington UA 950
B767-300 :
20/02 07:15 SanFrancisco via Washington UA 950
B777-200 :
20/02 10:35
I suppose that the unregular flight at 04:35 is the flight that was cancelled today?
Edit : Sorry, i didn't see that Robin Bamps already mentioned this information.

Something tells me that they've chosen Apron 3 since it's one of the most difficult sites to get a look at from landside.
Almost no way of getting a decent photo from within the old building. I don't know how good the apron is visible from the Front PArk, but you the view is obstructed by the pier leading to the satellite.
AFAIK the best way to get a decent photo is go to the sand hills along 25L/07R and get out the best zoom lens you've got...
And, if you want to get a photo, monday and tuesday are the only days to give it a try according to the info I've got.
Greetings,
Ivan

Heared (from airport security) that Bush would be landing on 25L, because of the ADB An-124next to 25R. In case of emergency or what ever, AF1 has to be able to taxi immediately to the beginning of the runway again and take-off again. The ADB An-124 is standing 5m in the way and BIAC doesn't want to move the Antonov because they are afraid to damage it (special tow-bar needed and probably no type-rated persons to sit in the cockpit while towing) and then they would have to pay for the damage caused. But then I'm also questioning myself, why can't they just use the Bravo exits and the outer taxiway to return to the beginning of 25R
And also, on 25L he would have to backtrack...
So around 20h Bush's wife should land and around 21h Bush himself should land according to my info-sources. Hopefully 2 VC-25's, like in Paris with the D-Day-memorial

Coincidence or not, the beast will land in the early evening, hence the F-16's scrambled at approx 18hrs and the VFR flights prohibited from 1900hrs till 2200
Oh and another thing, about the runway use, if a singapore 744 can land and take off like all the other planes even not using the Wiskey taxiway, AF1 can also. And Rwy25L is much more accessable and thus much available for terrorist actions
