Thats sounds good but lets hope Brussels can fiend a solution for those passengers flying in from India and going to New York.
Remember that Biman is thinking about leaving Brussels because passengers from Dhaka have to stay on the AC in Brussels and this for more than a few hours !.
Brussels is not a customer friendly airport when it comes to serving those passengers.
Also keep in mind that there is a security procedure for all US bound flights !. There are two competing company's at Brussels Airport, Securair and ICTS.
TSA rules are very strict when i comes to security for US bound flights so lets hope this airline starts investigation on time.

Hello
Indeed VERY NICE to see some more 4-engines Airbusses. I'm used to 330's but not to 340's.
Waiting for this new visitor. And indeed nice to have some new Asian connections. Has Bombay been served before from BRU?
In every case very nice , but very much concurrention on the New York route.
Best regards: Yannick

I hope it works out.
I was adopted from India by Belgian parents, and back in 1981, when I was 1 years old, I flew from Chennai to Mumbai with a local indian airline, then flew from Mumbai to Brussels via Abu Dhabi with SABENA (they flew that route with a DC-10).
Before SABENA went bankrupt I know they flew from Chennai directly to Brussels. Does anyone know how successful that route was?

That's means two daily 9W A343 at BRUpress wrote:jet airways will initially fly the bom-bru-jfk route 3 times a week.
if all goes well, they will fly daily later this year or next year in a split operation, 4 times a week bom-bru-jfk and 3 times a week del-bru-jfk.
So let's hope they will have a great success on this route

What you say here is not true at all. Passangers from Biman are obliged to leave the plane at Brussels. They just get a transit card and have to go to the departure side of the B-terminal while the plane is made ready for the next leg of the flight.JetB wrote: Remember that Biman is thinking about leaving Brussels because passengers from Dhaka have to stay on the AC in Brussels and this for more than a few hours !.

So I don't see why Brussels would not be a passenger friendly airport. There is nothing wrong with the way passengers are treated in Brussels. In my eyes we have a great airport and really passenger friendly.
About the new flight that is really good news! We need more links with Asia! I hope it will be a succes!! Good luck!
