Request -Brussels, RWY02 Directions

Post by gunslinger »

Hi,

I was at EBBR twice, but I wasn't able to find the rwy02 approach :( . Can anyone tell me how to get there? I found the approaches of 25l/25r and the touchdown point of rwy25L. I'm driving in towards Brussels from the east, taking junction Steenokkerzeel, at the end to the right and then allmost straight ahead for a few km's. Which junction around the ring for rwy02?

Thanks in advance.

If you start from 25L ( at tavern Jumbo ) drive direction Kortenberg station ( roundabout ). Go to the N2 ( road Leuven-Brussels ). Turn right at the lights, direction Brussels.
If you see a Jet gassattion turn right at those lights ( direction Zaventem-centrum ).
It's a street that goes downhill. We you come down there's a sharp turn to the left. Turn right in that turn, it's a small street. At the 1° junction turn left underneath the railroad bridge and you 'll see the RWY02 approach.
When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return."

If you start from the airport itself than you take at the roundabout direction Zaventem-Centrum.
At the next roundabout keep following "centrum". Go straight ahead until you cross a railroadbridge.Just after the bridge turn left ( one way street ) At the end left and right: you drive parallel with the railroad.
Follow that street and you'll see the RWY02 too.
