Good to see that the website has caught up.

THere is a lot of competion on the AMS - London route but into London City should pick up plenty of traffic.

Is VLM the first one providing a direct link with amsterdam and London city? If this is the case the route will definitely be profitable!

Nope. KLM cityhopper also flies the route with the same aeroplane: the F50.

Nice, this will only be good for the passenger. Not like in Brussels where VLM has high fares to london city!

They are going to increase frequencies on AMS (8 from 6) and open new route on RTM (1 daily flight):

I don't hold out much hope for VLM on this route. Previously, the airline operated without competition on its routes, and so did very well. Now they are taking on established national carriers such as Luxair and KLM they will probably not do so well. I hope I am wrong because VLM is a great carrier to fly with.

The airline will operate 3 flights a day using its fleet of Fokker 50s.
From April 4th the VLM will operate 82 flights at City Airport on weekdays.

VLM did well last year. They wouldn't start to challenge the big players if they wouldn't feel confident about the outcome. This will work.

That's the way to give a positive image to a negative information :!:
