Nice and very positive article. XXX should start counting in euros rather than in francs ;-)

The Etihad and Asian codeshare agreements are still hypotheses and not facts.

Happy Birthday to SN.

I hope that the codeshare agreement with Etihad will be done for real and that SN will finally be able to link BRU with Asia (even if it's via a codeshare).

Now they've progressed a lot in those three years, but to be honest I hope that SN will be a little bit more aggressive the coming years.
IMHO they should:
- Try to fly more with their own planes (or lease additional ones if needed)
- Try to improve the C product to attract more business travellers.
- expand the long haul service with at least one additional plane

Let's hope that some of those whiches will come true, although I sometimes doubt.......

I am very sorry to inform you that there is still no news on the Etihad or SNBA website about any such connection.
So, no asian connection yet.

Hi all,

good news: Tuesday will be double fun, as SNBA is officially celebrating it's 3th anniversary on 15th February, not 14th February:

http://www.brusselsairlines.com/en/comp ... story.aspx?

SN Brussels Airlines was founded in 2002, when a group of Belgian investors (companies, financial institutions and regional investment companies) set up SN Air Holding. SN Air Holding took over the existing Belgian airline DAT and changed its name to SN Brussels Airlines. On 15 February 2002, the company was ceremoniously christened SN Brussels Airlines. SN Air Holding owns 92% of the shares in SN Brussels Airlines.

And SIC, a Sabena financial subsidiary, owns the remaining 8%. Sabena still live?
