Only cargo planes, direct BRU-AUH.
Is it so far a rumour or do you have "good sources" of information?
And do you know if Etihad is planning to aquire further Cargo planes ? And if yes how many and which type ?

As far as I know, my source can be considered as reliable.
Normally daily flights except day 6 and 7 BRU-AUH with A330 & A340.
Don't know how big their fleet will be when they start ops from BRU.
Let's not jump to conclusions : though the Etihad BRU project looks good, nothing has been formally decided at this date, yet.
If it would be decided, you can be sure there'd be a press conference or press release to state that officially, immediately. The same applies generally to all rumours about new carriers who will/should/might/could start operating to a route they do not yet officially operate.
All the rest - fun as it may be to try to predict such things - is speculation and wishful thinking.
8) Wow.
