Expected at Brussel 08/02 : 763? Cancun Varadero 9:20

Post by RobinZartos »

Hello,

After a long time of waiting i finally thought, because normally a charter flight to Cancun or whatever is or delayed or on time but never earlier then expected, this was the moment. This is what i read this evening on biac :

08/02 10:20 Cancun via Varadero TUB8526 09:20 763

Someone knows more about this flight? Could this be really OO-TUC, again an other airline, or just a mistake by biac?

Greetz,
Robin Z.

Hi RobinZartos,

According to the information I received, OO-TUC should start his Westbound flight to the Caribbean tomorrow, so it has to be another one that lands tomorrow if the info I received is right.

Regards, Robin Bamps.

PS: I haven't seen you today.

So OO-TUC will surely do his first flight tomorrow? Do you know the specific ETD?

OO-TUCs normal etd was 1020, but fixed at earlier time etd 0920.

Oh now I get it... I thought the flight above in the topic was arriving in BRU. That's why I was confused.

Sorry

OO-TUC will anyway come too late to help the poor passengers stuck at Montego Bay and Punta Cana (see BIAC arrivals today):

That's an A313-aircraft, not a 767 then ? :?

Found it in the spotters database:

07/02/2005 F-GEMO A310-304 Eagle Aviation for TUI Airlines Belgium, +8

+8 does that mean for 8 days?

The Thomas Cook passengers are even in a worse condition:

08/02 13:15 Varadero via Punta Cana HXL 872 Image B763

But I guess they have been flown to AMS from where they will come back by bus!

TUB8526 to Varadero and Cancun left at 10.29 a.m. but is going via Amsterdam, according to the BIAC-website.
I suppose this flight is not operated by OO-TUC?
I am flying next Friday (11/02) to Varadero, and anxious to know if it will be OO-TUC, or another plane, and how much delay our flight will have. I don't mind to make a world tour to Iceland and/or Canada, but if you only have 1 week of holiday, I don't really like to loose a day sitting in a plane or in airports.
Any news about the actual status of OO-TUC?
Thanks

I found this in the spottersdatabase:

08/02/2005 OO-TUC B767-341(ER) TUI Airlines Belgium
first revenue to MUVR-MMUN, etd 1020 (or 0920)

So it has to be OO-TUC.
Maybe they have some seats free for Air Exel passengers?

Airbuske
