Latest Exel Aviation News!

Post by KLMCityhopper »

On the news in Holand, there is a continuous speculation about the Exel Aviation Group. So far, not much is clear, yet it has been announced that De Vlieger might have to do with illegal black money. One of his airlines, Air Exel, has also been asked for money by Air Denim, who gave the airline slots, and by Eindhoven Airport, the hub for Air Exel. Holland Exel is in a bigger mess. After the arresting of Harm Prins, and now De Vlieger, Thomas Cook has decided to stop with flying with Exel. This means that on avarage 3000 passengers are lost monthly by Exel. TUI on the other hand has pumped in a few million to keep the airline going, yet if the airline comes into difficulty, TUI is planning to take over the airline, only if there is no other option. Bonairexel is planning to split off from the group soon, since it has annouced that it will be code sharing with KLM in the Caribbean, and it wants to leave the rest on the Exel alone. This will become a problem, since this is the only profitable branch of Exel. I hope the best for De Vlieger. With Dutchbird it didn't go so well, maybe, De Vlieger was too enthousiastic this time again!

I have really no idea about Air Exel. Perhaps Holland Exel will be TUI Holland, perhaps not.

Sorry, I not voting because I have no clue.

Regards

Seb.
