SN Brussels replace Air Mauritius at BRU?
As Air Mauritius pulled out of its BRU,VIE n MUC flights last year,
since then Austrian /Lauda has launched its Vienna-Mauritius flight with B763 and in May this year LTU will serve Mauritius from Dusseldorf/Munich,therefore replacing MK in some sense.
How about we have SN Brussels launch a weekly service to Mauritius itself?
Air Mauritius has its BRU passengers transit thru CDG,but wouldn't the BRU-MRU flight work? Many Mauritians live in Belgium.
At least for SN Brussels...

The three SN A333's are constantly flying to Africa, and I don't think they could add MRU to their destination panel or any other destination without reducing the frequency of some other destination. (correct me if I'm wrong).SN30952 wrote:Why should SNBA not deserve MRU. What did they do they cannot deserve that?SierraFoxtrotMike wrote:.... there are no slot for deserving Mauritius....
Maybe they do not have the aircraft, it is a 24h rotation, evt combinable with MBA.
Adding a further stop to fly to MRU, wouldn't be a solution either I think. Making 2 stops to fly to MRU is not great for passengers, is it ?
Chris
How many Mauritians are there living in Benelux?

"constantly flying to Africa" and eeeuh exclusively flying to Africa?
10/10 Chris, I asked why?: the answer is a) no a/c available, b) not enough traffic, so combined with an other (existing SNBA) destination, would make the product almost unsalable...
And the Mauritians living in Belgium should be about some 12000 to fly every year to make an acceptable L/F. Do you think mk-london, there are as many in the Zaventem hinterland (catching area)?
Hoping, dear mk_london, this is a suitable answer to your Q, unless there are so many Mauritians. in Benelux, please let us know.
For English readers, deserve in Franglish for: having a(n air) service to/from

If I'm not mistaking, currently only 2 A333's are being used, since one is in maintenance.
