The Air Mauritius B767 replacement is due VERY soon but no announcement has been made as to whether the A330-200 or the B777-200Er has been selected.
Please could some one shed sopme light on this and any comments to as to what Mk shoud do,as they have a Airbus fleet of A340,A319 and 2 B767.
Cheers

There is a margin in terms of pax/cargo capacity between the 772ER and the A332 !!
I thought MK would consider the 787.

Well if they want to replace the B762 I think they better pick the A332 (same cockpit as the A343 they fly) and the B772 is waay to large...

Surely the A332 is too large a replacement for the 762 also?
Maybe they could order new build 762s from Boeing to replace the older 762s?

An A330-200 makes sense to me:
-available almost immediatly
-same cockpit as A340-300
-most of the spare parts are the same than A340
-an even better cargo capacity than a B767-200/-300

Is Boeing still making new build 762s? I thought that the only model rolling off the 767 line now is the 763.

The CO 762s are all new build, so I thought all models of the 767 are still being built?
The 332 offers approx 80 more seats than a 762 so thats a big increase in size hence my thinking of a new build 762ER order

All the ordered 764 are delivered, there are only 2 operators of the 764. That are Continental and Delta.

A330-200 has a better range than B767-400ER. Moreover, the B767s can't haul LD6 containers or LD3 in tandem.
