Post by EBBRspotter »

Who from you all still goes to school (high school/college/university) or already works?

Myself I'm in my last year of accountancy-tax-law in Brussels at HONIM

I'm in limbo - neither school nor work :( I am hoping to start a training course sometime later this year, about March or April.

I'm from Mortsel myself, used to live there for more then 30 years, but don't know any school that has tourism on their agenda. Think I'm getting old :-). Where do you follow you're classes if I may ask you.

As for Comet, never thought about immigrating to Belgium :-)

Good morning Athos, how are you today?

Never a day goes by when I don't think of emigrating to Belgium. But I am not fluent in either French or Dutch and I doubt that Roman need any tasters and I don't think I could get a job with the planes in BRU :( Becxause I am over 25 I am regarded as untrainable and therefore unemployable in Britain. This is all because Blair removed funding for training the over 25s and gives financial reward for employers who only train under 25s.

Yep Sab319 I know the school, but didn't know the had Tourism there. Had some classes near the Oude-God football team, where the use to have the school for music’s. All gone now I thought.

Airbuske, my daughter also follows criminology in Ghent :-). Keep away from here :-)

Comet,

"I am regarded as untrainable and therefore unemployable in Britain"

Looks strange to me. If someone wants to work even tough it's below what he was trained for, you should find work. The most important thing is, find work and prove you are able to work.
