Question Thomas Cook and TUI cabin crew schedules

Post by Deedrah »

Hello

I have a question about the schedules of the cabin crew from thomas cook airlines and tui airlines.
How many nightstops are there in a week and how many nights is it. Is it also frequently?

Deedrah,

chartercompanies don't put crews in nightstop. Normally it's a combination of flights where you leave Brussels and return to Brussels. If I remember well Thomas Cook did a nightstop in Egypt but I am not sure if that's still the case.

Had a college that had a job interview last year with TUI Airlines Belgium.

The guy has the style, looks and quality to become a flight attendant and was selected.

He decided not to sign a contract ( Junior cabin crew ) because TUI had the most terrible slots in 2004, this is when the company just started.

Hope that changed, because getting up at 2 AM for your first flight is not a joke, and the same problem when you have to stay up for a night flight into Brussels.

not with these airlines..flying for a charter company is always hard work. Your hours are never the same, night flights, early flights,....

And don't forget that for most junior cabin crew its only a 6 to 8 month contract.

You can only hope to stay after October, but for most it is goodbye and maybe "See ya next year" !.

TCW still has the Nightstop in HRG every week.

Other nightstops depend upon layovers and Ad-hoc flights.

See other topic.

Thomas Cook called yesterday to tell me I have the job. I'm so happy but Tui Airlines wants me also to meet them again for a third interview.
If I have the opportunity to work also at Tui Airlines I think I wouldn't know which one to choose.
