Euro Atlantic Airways Tristar Sunday January 16, 2005

Post by BBKing »

On Sunday I was spotting at Brussels Airport.

At a certain moment an Euro Atlantic Airways Tristar was towed to the apron of Sabena Technics. The plane was making a lot of noise (I think the APU was up and running).

The plane seemed to have some technical problems and was surrounded by cars.

Does anybody know what was going on. As far as I know, the plane should have departed earlier that afternoon, so I guess the passengers were facing some delay at the start of their holiday.

Their was nothing wrong with the aircraft, the next flight was only on Monday morning. We needed the parkingstand and asked Sn Technics to move the plane

Hello

I saw it too. Just when i expected it to Take-off at RWY 25R/20 it was towed away to the back of the airport. Damn :(:(:(

I expected him to taxi on taxiway 'Wisky' but no...

In every case...i heard some real hard noise too, and i was standing at
the 25R so...

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Ok, thanks for the reply !!

I really had the impression that it was a technical problem (the noise and all the cars surrounding the plane), but it looks as if I was wrong.
