Heard about it on TV today...

We'll never now to which extend those cracks are a danger to the safety. Obviously airbus won't ground all the fleet of A33/40.

Hope it's not serious, but they said that the problem is solved during normal maintenance so it shouldn't be that serious.

I don't think it is such a big drama.

Cracks are found all the time, being fixed... and the problem is solved.

These reports sound more like propaganda, Boeing fans having fun talking Airbus down and Airbus fans enjoying the fact that Airbus is doing better second year in a row.

Fact is that both company's are building great planes, and customers can only benefit from competition.

In my opinion the A380 is a monster, cant wait to see that puppy fly. And so is the 7E7, built with passenger comfort in mind.

Let these company's compete, build better, safer and especially more full efficient airplanes.

Can you really fiend on AC with not one crack ?.

Most readers will not remember this aircraft, but if you think cracks of any description are acceptable, or taken lightly, you should read this historical story.

you have all sorts of cracks.
Engine bolts cracked, dropping engines and an entire 747 on Amsterdam suburbs. And that was Boeing.
