I think it too , because most of those Russian aircrafts aren't allowed
anymore in the most European/American(less)and Asian airports.
I think Russia is one of the only counties were they may operate their
oldies (TU-154,TU 134 , IL 86/IL 96,....)and also at night i guess.
So on their European Routes they already fly with A319,A320,A321 and B737-400's (still in service?)and their long haul flights with the B772 , B763, and still some IL 86 and IL 96's.
