Maybe we can meet there?
Hey Rutger, I will be there.
And I'll wear my Virgin sweater

Hello,

Well I was thinking about it but the VEX 12-12 flights for tomorrow are sold out!
I'll still come and have a look if it's nice weather though

And for those who didn't get to come, have a look at their site because there is another 12-12 flight on Wednesday evening!

Best Regards,

Jonathan

hmm, if they don't put the "oetlul" on it, it would be a nice birthday-present. Any volunteers to sponsor me ? :P

The second flight seems muc more interesting: at night and up to FL370. I'll probably book my tickets tomorrow or so.

Greetings,

FL370? In 30 min up to 37000 feet and down again. That almost can't be?
Anyway, it will be already night, so probably no pictures...

Well, if they climb 5000ft per minute they're there in roughly 8 minutes. The 737 is a powerfull aircraft...

Ivan,

5000 ft/min, you will never be able to continue at that rate of climb untill FL370. FL370 is way to high for such a short trip, at least I think? :?:

Flight of 40 minutes, let's take 15 min for takeoff and landing, then we have 25 min, minus 5 minutes minimum for cruise, then it just has to climb at average 1900 ft/min, wich it is perfectly capable of. A friend of me has flown in the cockpit of a 737 of VEX to strassbourgh (charter) and it climbed at more then 6000ft/min after takeoff. Perfectly possible :!:

Just back from Zaventem.

My dream just came true ! I saw Joeri, Joeri, Joeri ! :kvole: :mexwave:

Nah, the flight was one of my roughest flights ever. The half of the pax on board were ill. Some were wearing oxygen masks already ! But what do you want with winds up to 100km per hour just below the clouds with many "luchzakken" and turbulence.

Anyway, it is a flight to remember !
Pictures and report following !
(My budapest report is almost ready)
