Look what I found on the
www.qaps.nl website: a picture of a SNBA Avro-plane with "Hup Holland Hup"-titles!
Does anyone know anything about this!??

Oh no, now they think we are from Holland
Why does Sn Ba put such a titles on a airplane?

Because SN BA's Chairman is Dutch?
And please note the orange colour!
Oh, it must be a sponsoring by the Dutch national football team!

I guess it had something to do with the football match Belgium-Holland of last wednesday in Brussels.
Perhaps the Dutch painters tried to support their team in this way, knowing that the plane belongs to a Belgian company and was due to return to Brussels ...
Anyway it didn't help the "Dutch star team".
It is not the first time that "hup Holland hup" titles are painted on a plane.
I remember Martinair planes being painted with this titles and with giant footballs (in orange) for the occasion of the world championship football some years ago ....
I guess SNBA might have been lucky this time ...

I hope this a tricked picture. Look at the contours of the most forward window.
Last week I saw a KLM F50 at abelag. I thought yhis was the a/c that carried the dutch footall team.

Yep, the Dutch stars decided to fly instead of taking a coach.
As an aviation enthusiast, I can only welcome this decision, but on the other hand it is a kind of "stardom" I don't like.
I thing the text "hup holland hup" is a sticker ...

It's not easy being a star ....
Last week I was at Brussels National Airport and had for the first time the opportunity to see the new SNBA livery live. Actually I really liked it !!!
Maybe Bart knows how the passengers react on the new livery?
