Where Would You Like to Live?
If you could choose to live absolutely anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I stayed in England it would be Knaresborough, because that is the nicest town in North Yorkshire.
If I moved abroad I would choose either - Brugge (my favourite place on the planet), Oostende (my favourite coastal resort), Dinant (get a nice riverside property), Tournai (just nice there), Brussels if I could see the Atomium, Oudenaarde (for obvious reasons) or Kortenberg.

Close to home... Bavaria. Then I would buy myself a motorcycle ( again )
and enjoy the nice German landscape and the highways without speed restriction.
A "bit" further away... Hmmm... I've lost my heart in Aruba.
All year round about 30°C.

Greenland is very different - the nearest I've been is flying over on the way to LAX, I remember seeing the mountains and the coastline.
At one time I would have said Iceland, butt hat has been spoilt by the increase in nightclubs and its constant promotion as an "alternative" pub crawl venue for British lager louts. It was never like that when we were going there.

I am happy where I am (home sweet home), but if I had to move, Scarborough would be a very nice place to go, after the descriptions made by Comet
Oh yes, I forgot, I mean Scarborough, New Jersey, and its famous Scarborough fair from the film 'The Graduate', celebrated in the song by Simon and Garfunkel

Oh the memories that you have just evoked with your reference to "The Graduate" - Kathryn Ross was my favourite actress for years after seeing her in that film.
Where would I like to live? Doesn't really matter as long as the sound of people committing aviation is not too far away I will be happy.
Perhaps the US would be my ultimate choice - you could never run out of places to go spotting there but it might get a bit lonely as there are not too many resident number grubbers to go on trips with.

The Graduate is a good film, VC10 is a huge fan of it, and I love the songs. I have to say my favourites are "Sound of Silence" (which became the "Brussels theme" on my first ever Belgium video, and "Mrs Robinson" which is used as backing for Brugge
(And I am in a very good mood today - an early Christmas present of an interview for a laboratory job at our local hospital on 5th January, I would love to work at the hospital because it is one of the best employers in Scarborough :mexwave:)

Because I am not allowed to eat in the bedroom, and until now nobody complains when I fall asleep in the kitchen....
In tropical mountain area... It's 15 degrees and clear @ 06:00 on X-mas morning, and it will be a sunny 28-30 degrees at lunchtime. Time for a nap, because I get up early... see higher.

I am fascinated by Australia, but if it will be impossible to live there I would be very happy to stay here in Tenerife! Such a good climate 8) , lovely food, a lot of friend over here and sooooooo nice to fly (just look the picture).
But I would go to any place in the world to realize my dream, getting on the right seat of a big airplane.
Merry X-mas to all.
