Rutger,
How reliable is your source ? Watch out for fake pictures as they almost look like real ones with the current software programs ! It looks strange to me that she would have already weared her new reg on December 3rd and that she now still flies with Varig callsign
I think EPS_Aviation has a quite reliable source when talking about the flight number etc.
Regards, Robin Bamps.
EDIT: Like ThomasCook said, TCW has already a plane nicknamed "Discover", so I guess TUB isn't allowed to use that name in their fleet.

Indeed Robin... Let's remember the fake"World of TUI" Boeing 737-400.Robin_Bamps wrote:Rutger,

I wouldn't be that sure: the name given to the plane has nothing to do with its registration. I remember KLM-Cityhopper had a "City of Brussels" while the then independent Air UK had a "City of Brussels" too...Robin_Bamps wrote: EDIT: Like ThomasCook said, TCW has already a plane nicknamed "Discover", so I guess TUB isn't allowed to use that name in their fleet.

Hello TUI-spotters!
Sounds nice!!!! Finally!!! Also that Euro Atlantic airways B767-300,
was a nice change in the scedule...even nicer than the L 1011.
Anyway...THE OO-TUC is arrived!!! jeeej!!
On onehand it's kind a unfortunately that he don't arrive in full VARIG
colors, that would have been real nice...but in full TUI livery isn't bad!
big boy----I WILL CATCH YOU NEXT TIME!!!!---hehehe
Best Christmas regards: Yannick

This wouldn't be the first plane to have already it's new registration painted on it covered with a sticker with it's old registration.
Take a look at the several aircraft that change owner at MST. For example the Niki planes were ferried to Switzerland wearing the old Aero Loyd registration on a sticker with the new reg. painted underneath.
This is done for clearing the plane with customs I believe.
Best Regards,
Yvo

Hi All,
Latest news from VARIG operations office in Madrid is that the aircraft is scheduled to leave LISBON at 1512gmt arriving BRUSSELS at 1713gmt (1813lt), the aircraft is in TUI c/s but defiantely PP-VOL reg is visible, possibel OO-TUC under it. The reason it didn't arrive yesterday after a slight 'tech' problem is that the crew ran out of legal hours !!! to fly to BRU,
Rgds

Let's hope that OO-TUC will be more reliable when flying for TUI Belgium than during her delivery flight to Brussels...

Hello everybody,
The first daylight picture from OO-TUC is now online at Skyliner-Aviation (photographed by Luis Padrão at Lisbon yesterday). Here she is :
http://www.skyliner-aviation.de/viewpho ... picid=1601
As you can see, the Brazilian reg was taped over the Belgian during her delivery flight.
Nice machine, although she reminds me of the first TUI scheme on the Britannia 767's (just other titles). Would love to see OO-TUC with billboard Jetair titles one day...
Regards, Robin Bamps.
