Cheers, Walter. So no water, but a Tusker, or a White Cap?
I always enjoyed the Guiness from Mombasa. They still produce it?
And what lucky we were working with an airline, because the beer in Rwanda/Burundi was brewed by the Dutch group Heineken., so we had ours coming from home. Ugandan beer was potable.
In Nigeria, it were Belgian (Stella Artois) brewers, with an excellent beer for the boiling hot weather in Lagos.
In Bombay it was Cobra, Kingfisher or Taj Mahal. But the best drink there always was a zingy Bombay Gin and (Indian) tonic, zested and on ice.
In Thailand they drink everything on ice: beer, wine, coke, Sprite, tea , coffee.... Lucky the Kingdom has good neigbours: Burma imports good Australian and S. African wines. Laos does that with French wines, and Malaysia is brewing excellent beers. From the Philippines comes fine Rum.
You don't hear any complain from this one, particularly in a country with 3 New Years*. A Western, a Thai and a Chinese. Cheers
*That's why your season decoration and lights probably come from Thailand.
