is there not a table for individual airports in revenue terms instead of airport operators/groups? BAA at number 1 with 3 airports seems misleading to me.

The revenue earned by BAA as $3350 makes it the take the lead.

I shall in due time submit the full synopsis on the entire study.

hi advisor

i meant to say that BAA is top of that list because it operates three London airports (it has 7 in the UK)

but the list is quite misleading - the title of your list was
Top 15 airports compiled on the basis of revenue earned in the last fiscal year.
but there are numerous entries with more than 1 airport

??

The basis of the study is similar to the Global Airport Benchmark Study.

Figures are for the leading airports by passenger traffic which has been indexed against the average.

Factors such as load, airlines using the facility, labour and other allied costs have been incorporated to achieve this.

As study has been done for airports for which data and figures were available.

Hi Advisor, nice figures indeed! But i guess what CN-RAM meant is that your numbers are representative for airport companies, and do not shoz the revenue for individual airports. It would be interesting to see how individual airports, such as LHR, are doing, instead of BAA as a whole. It also makes comparing easier, i guess. For example, in your current database, would you consider the revenue of BRU as a single airport, or would you take the whole revenue of Macquarie Airports, the (new) owner of BRU? Because Macquarie also ownes Sydney airport and a few others. And what with the airports where it does not have a majority stake? (This is just an example, i don't expect BRU high in the revenue list  )

Is it possible to get the revenue statistics for the individual airports? Thanks in advance and thanks for the already very interesting figures!

Greets,

Pieter

Thank you Flybe for your suggestioat. Since the data is vast I have to make sure that i do not make a mistake in my research.

I shall in due course submit the list of all the individual airports as well.

Flybe, I did gather all the information and shall now add the complete list of Airport Groups totalling to 50.

Yes, I dis also research about Macquarie. I learnt that a consortium led by Macquarie Airports has won the bidding to take controlling stake of 70% in Brussels International Airport Company BIAC.

As per my research Australia based Macquarie group has valued this stake at 735 Million Euros.

Macquarie has stake in Sydney, Rome, Bristol and Birmingham airports.
