Rolls Royce engine interactive

Post by moons »

Hello everyone,

For the people who don't know exactly how a jet engine works, check out this site :
http://www.rolls-royce.com/education/sc ... flash.html

The people who already knew it can also take a look. It's a nice interactive movie of a starting engine.

greets,
moons

Nice, my grandfather allways gives me a lot of information about the engines and I think it's something very fascinating. Thank you for the link (I'll mail him to my grandfather)

Thanks a ton, Moons. You seem to be either a researcher or a jet engine linked job.

Nice link. Keep more information coming. It is said, Be curious always, for knowledge will not acquire you, you must acquire it.

Thx guys,

Little message to Advisor...
I'm no researcher or I've no job that has to do with engines :)
You're right on one thing...I'm curious!

Actually I'm a student who is studying for a bachelor in "social work".
You've got to be curious to study for that. I'm interested in society and people but also in aviation! :) So if I can learn something new I will be prepared to listen.
