Post by OO-SBZ »

Congratulations to Virgin Express for that excellent marketing ploy! Very successful campaign indeed!

Well, I'm sure Vueling will survive. How many promotions has Virgin Express already done on the route Brussels Barcelona. Well, all the other companys are survived it too. Also in Spain, most of the people know vueling!

Good marketing campaign of Virgin Express , but lots of people don't really know the taxes aren't included in this "game" but in the meantime they had lots of visitors on their site who will certainly take a look around the site and book a flight  and what's more , don't believe that some people already have 4000+ votes , you can manipulate the votings , I'm sure about that and after more than 2 weeks they finally saw it and now you need to type a code to vote , the problem is that people who type the exact code always receive an answer who tells them the code is wrong

No more games like this for me except if they are played correctly  , I will continue flying with German wings , much cheaper and you won't lose friends who are sick of getting all those stupid mails with "please could you vote for me...."

Fabke

Do you know a better (I mean more efficient) way for getting votes?

No , and that's just the problem , you know , sending hundreds of mails to people you sometime don't know personally is SPAM , I laready had problems with some people   but at least my best friends and lots of "Luchtzakkers" voted for me  :D

It was indeed a great advertisment camapign for the Valencia flight for VEX. They've done a great job for that.

BTW I'm sure that there is a market for both VLG and VEX on that route. A little bit of competition is never wrong ;)

I think so too! By the way, in Spain Vueling has done a great marketing campaing too. So in Spain people know about Vueling. And in Belgium now Virgin has done a campaign but not in spain. So they just did the same thing. Maybe if Vueling wants people in Belgium to know about them they should do a campaign in Belgium too. But ofcourse that cost a lot of money.

The same story goes for many other airlines, how many people here in Belgium know that Maersk air is operating between CPH and BRU?
