It's not because there's a lot of smoke during touchdown that it's a hard landing. It all depends of the temperature of the tires and the runway.

It's not because you're a cargo pilot, that you're a 'bad pilot'... These are just like 'passenger-pilots' huh!

Think it is an AN24, the AN28 is a much smaller aircraft.

i think we are both wrong  looks like its a An26, i was mislead by looking at the inscription on the nose ( as on most of Rusian types )
it really looks very similar to 28

Very nice photos all :D and don't matter Vonsmalhausen about your mistake Russian types aren't the most easy to recognise

To Bottie , from where did you took your photos , very nice location :D , from the wall? And if so , how can you reach that place , I mean where must you go to get on it?

Was there anybody of you guys at the back of the asielcentrum between 14h00 and 14h30? Saw there three guys, one of them had a big black doggie with him.

Took some pictures aswell of the little BA aircraft (if you can call that a plane??). I was quite surprised to see this thing popping out of the trees :D

I'll see to insert some pictures when I'm at home.

Indeed, from the wall ;) Next to the cemetery, there's a hole in the fence, which leads directly to the wall .

I did it once, the fence wasn't even finished at that time: both BIAC and the Airport police came after me...
They won't see me there anymore before they garantee me I'm allowed too...

Hello Fellow spotters.

Nice pictures again, and from a nice spot.
I stood for the first time on the sound-wall
last Saturday,...very nice spot,...especially wen the taxiway in front
of it will be in use, soon.

Best regards: Yannick :D

If I understand , you're not allowed to stand on it and you can have troubles with the police  , why can't they make spottersplaces like at other airports , it's possible at Amsterdam , Frankfurt , Dusseldorf , ... BUT no at Brussels and other Belgian airports

Well I don't know if you are allowed to climb on the wall, but I don't think that standing at the bottom of it is 'not allowed'. If you look closely there is a new street which they are building right underneath the sound wall. This street is directly connected to a round about several meters further on your right (when looking at the airport). If I'm not mistaken the round about is connected to normal streets. So if I'm correct, this spot isn't that illegal after all.

But I might be wrong as well ;)
