hy Tony,
i'm very sorry that my use of the English language is a problem to you, i assure you that i use the spellcheck on every post i make ( i will also on this one, so please blame the program ) and i spend a lot of time thinking how i can formul what i want to say.
so maybe i'm just to blame for my ignorance of a language that is not my native, ore maybe it's my education that is not to your standards ?? ore is it the program that is not up to his duty
try to improve the program with better alternatives ( i'm shure you can ), and maybe this will help me to get to your standard.

oh, and i DO have fun posting here !

Tony, you gave the answer yourself: Because treat, threat and tread are all existing words, the spellcheck approves them. The spellcheck can't do everything you want. The same you would get with Microsoft Word spellcheck (although it has a few more features).

We all just have to accept that this site is mainly frequented by non-native english speakers, and not everybody is as fluent as some of us. Nobody is to blame for that, you can't expect our younger members to be fluent in english. After all, they only had a few years of english (if they had it at all) and you're not expected to be fluent in it when you're 16.

We of course can correct them, but in a friendly way. After all, it's an aviation forum, not a language school

Greets, and sorry for being :offtopic:

Pieter

BTW: a SPELL checker wouldn't really check the SPELLING (i know the verb "to spell", but a spell checker (with or without spacing) isn't a word i could find, and a spell isn't really what you meant, i guess  ).

Guys,

The 'International Airlines' is existing from the previous lease when Futura leased this aircraft to Gambia International Airlines. Futura don't spend money on repainting if they don't have too. Somewhere I have a photo of this aircraft with Gambia International roof titles, I'll search the computer for it,

PS Sorry for the previous rant on spelling and language, just wanted to point out the subtle differences in words can have completely different meanings

Hi Tony,
It wasn't my intention to reply to your comments , but here I still go , try to understand that not everybody speaks as good English as you :? , and that people like Mr. Vonsmalhausen and many others do lots of efforts to post logs/photos/... on this forum and believe me , comments like yours will force people to no longer post something because people like you have always to give negative critics instead of giving the people who post something a little appreciation on their work
That's also the reason why I no longer post my logs on mailing lists , people always give negative comments on it and blame you if you made a small mistake  , I prefer to keep the logs for me and my friends who at least appreaciate my work

PS I used the spell chack euh check :D

Hello,

I don't think it was Tony intentional idea to attack Vonsmalhousen and even it sounded like this he has apologized. I agree on Tony remark that some words when misspelled mean sometimes complete the opposite. I think in this case the spell checker even can't recognize this error as both words exist. I guess everybody can learn from their mistakes, i make them too unless somebody tells me. It is just part of discussions in fora.
In case of Vonsmalhousen I think his table is full of "thank you" roses for his nice pics, with only a few "spelling" thorns on it and most of them not seen by the "mighty" spellchecker  .

don't let this go to far, Tony has a point and maybe i overreacted a bit.
just let us enjoy this nice site (and learn from our mistakes), and maybe in some years i'll be able to post without the help of the spellchecker

Hello

Was indeed a very nice day, went spotting too.
And was really happy with the Futura 737-800winglets,and the
Red-tailed Travel Service, looks like they were all operating for TUI
because the biac website was full of TUB 738's(more than they have),
and also several FQ 738's,....AMC aviation 738,...

But it was nice too see tose, and ofcourse the RAM 763,wich i just
missed on landing....damn :dammit:

Anyway, i'm happy i went.

Best spotting regards: Yannick :P

So my eyes  are good after all. I had difficulty reading those two, that's why Chris need the confirmation.

Was a nice sunny and cold spotting say :)
