I don't think that RJ will supend its flights to BRU. From what I heared it could be that the only remaining flight to BRU will be the one coming via Amsterdam. So I guess they'll reduce the number of flights.
Anyway, it's still sad

As we all know Mr Wim Desmet is now heading, if not the biggest, one of the most important touristik businesses in Belgium.
This to say Sabena and BN had great decison makers...
It is official, RJ is stopping his BRU operation. All employees received their C4 doc, they will terminate end of october.On the other side, EK is more and more picking up the pax and cargo.
They add two weekly cargo B747 to FRA in addition to their existing weekly flight from LGG.
Qatar Airways will very soon start operate Airbus cargo to and from Europe. Mahan Air Cargo (Iran) also plans to start operation from BRU. On year basis, we find out that EK had an increase of about 30% in cargo.....
It seems that most of the good managers and decision persons are all located in the Middle or Far East..
I am 30 years in the aircargo and if we look back, in the 70's, TMA was also the first to operate wound the world cargo B707 and even two B747.

Royal Jordanian Airlines what is happening?
Royal Jordanian Airlines: "After 11 September 2001, things have been very difficult for airlines of our ilk? Ex-state-owned airlines trying to move into the private sector. We don't think there are any more strategic partners available? At least for the coming few years", Samer Majali, President.
Boeing Chairman Phil Condit cited recent improvements in global traffic data as cause for some optimism.
Boeing is hopeful that strength in Asia might bolster its order book. And there are clear signs of strength, with reports of recently expanded services by Royal Jordanian Airlines, Skynet Asia and EVA Air.
Several carriers plan new services later this year, including AirAsia and SriLankan Airlines, while Japan Airlines System and Malaysia Airlines report recent increases in forward bookings.

Royal Jordanian in pact with Delta
Royal Jordanian and Delta Airlines have agreed to develop their commercial ties and to identify potential areas of co-operation.
Royal Jordanian agreed to evaluate the possibility of appointing the US airline as the technical handling agent for its flights at New York's Kennedy Airport.
The two airlines also expressed a keen interest in enhancing the interline co-operation that already exists between both airlines.
Royal Jordanian and Delta Airlines discussed other issues of mutual interest including frequent flyer programmes, facilitating passengers travelling to or from Royal Jordanian stations in the US, and the code-share mail agreement to Baghdad that was already concluded between both airlines.
