Airbus presenteert A380 half januari

I hope that they make sure the world press will be there together with the airlines waiting for delivery of such magnificent aircraft!
And let’s hope that the awful desperate Boeing won’t make a fuss over anything so Airbus can get some good publicity!
Its just tears my hart to read all these bad publicity Airbus is getting!

I would say the world press would indeed be there, as well as several thousand spotters :lookaround: :lookaround:MrAirbus wrote: I hope that they make sure the world press will be there together with the airlines waiting for the delivery of such magnificant aircraft !

A380 not quite ready yet

This article by netcomposites states a vastly different time frame for fatigue testing and first flight, fatigue testing starts in September 2005, and will last for nearly 26 months, if initial testing is successful then it will be released to service late 2006 , providing the noise levels are met.
I'm not sure what the FAA regs are regarding the fatigue testing, it may require the aircraft to complete the full cycle, or only a partial completion.
Maybe we have an FAA member who can fill in the blanks.

MrAirbus, this is pure nonsense. Boeing's aeroplanes are as good as any others. Please refrain from writing such statements without any proof.MrAirbus wrote:Its just tears my hart to read all these bad publicity Airbus is getting because the Americans can’t sell their worthless planes!

Well, it gives me always a good feeling when a new aircraft takes to the sky, and even more when it is a new type that is beeing introduced.
But the A380 will probably compete with the B747, altough the B747 is another market segment (400 vs. 550 seats). And that means there will be less of my favorite aircraft flying. So I haved mixed feelings about this one, but it are things I can't change and which I need to accept, maybe the A380 will turn out to be a nice aircraft also.

What can I say... Hmm yes: "Buy the best plastic, buy Airbus"MrAirbus wrote:And let’s hope that the awful desperate Boeing won’t make a fuss over anything so Airbus can get some good publicity!![]()
Sorry, but what an act of a child. I prefer Boeing but I don't say words like that. Airbus has some nice models (like A318-A319), but if you're going that way, we can discuss hours

SORRY to offend you Boeing fans!
Useless Rhetoric
what a bunch of verbal garbage, Boeing builds excellent aircraft and have since the the 707 introduced in May of 1954 they have sold in excess of 11,000 Commercial Aircraft since then, and that does not include Military versions which adds on an additional 11,000. Airbus also builds excellent aircraft, and have done so do since their inception in 1969, since that date they have built in excess of 3000 and continue to do so. All these figures were obtained from " Janes commercial aircraft" and anyone with the money can buy a subscription. It's only natural to have pride in your countries products, but please refrain from bashing everyone else's countries and products, they are all trying to be the best they can be.

I will answer this question: no! The administrators of this website do their very best to keep political and religious talks far away from this website. And we also don't accept Boeing vs Airbus talks

Indeed, and MrAirbus corrected his mishap already and apologized.
