Post by ELLX »

Hello everybody,

After buying my new lens (Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM) for my EOS 300D 2 days ago.. I really had to test it today at the airport.. therefore I want to present you the result of this rather cold and gray day at Luxembourg with only standart traffic :)

First come first serve: Luxair LX-LGD Prince Félix:

Those are some very good pictures.
Thanks for sharing them.
I see you had to luck the spot the TU-154 from Aerofilt in the new colours.

This morning there was also a AN124 expected which apperently diverted to LUX. Did you also see that one and if yes what was the registration? It should be a Volga Dnepr one.
The plane is expected to fly to MST this evening.

Best Regards,
Yvo

Aerofilt = new Russian airline?

No 154 or Aeroflot showing in the pictures I see - lots of others though.

Whoops that must have been a typo.

Just have a look under the wing of this 747 and you can spot the TU-154 of Aeroflot.

There's an Aeroflot TU-154 Parked at the very background, it brought a russian soccer team to LUX and will depart this evening at 21.00 local (we lost.. 0:4 :roll: ) It's parked at the worst position at LUX where you can't get any pictures at the moment (due to WIP for the new terminal) and at 21.00 I can't get shots either so.. no luck.. For the AN124 I don't know the registration it was parked allready at the run-up position (where prior the P4-AFE parked maybe some of you remember our 747SP) this morning with the back-door open and in the afternoon with closed doors.. I only came that close to it:

Very nice pics!!!
I went today spotting at BRU, but it seems I can't get very sharp pictures, even of planes standing still. I have a CANON G5, anyone a solution or a hint to make better pictures for me? I think my optic zoom of 4 is too short for the far distance between the fences and the planes in BRU. Thanks and keep up the good shooting.

refledge,

Try to sharpen them up in a program such as Photoshop.
