The cabincrew talked about their personal lifes, the BBC was able to film everything during the whole flight, except for the upper-deck. You were able to see the crew while there were sleeping, redressing, making food, serving lunch, ... . About the food: a F/A was preparing scrambled eggs but "it tastes better then it looks". And indeed, it looks awful because it comes as a liquid. All the crewmembers were saying the same thing: it's a hard job, but they all love it.Working in the Dark

Fly By Night
With a hurricane on the way everyone's in a hurry to leave Florida. This is the night Adrian Chiles has chosen to join the cabin crew of a British Airways 747 out of Miami to London, there's not a seat to be had in the plane.
Despite the panic, the BA flight crew smile through and show Adrian the realities of life as a 'trolley dolly', from the art of making perfect scrambled eggs without proper eggs for the first class passengers, to dealing with permanent jetlag and a life lived in hotel rooms.
The sweet smile for the passengers remains firmly fixed to the bitter end and doesn't even crumple when one of the stewards realises that a passenger has walked off with his suitcase by mistake.

This show was broadcasted 30 minutes ago. I saw a big part of it and it was very interesting:
That sounds like a very interesting programme (for a change, given the usuual rubbish shown on the "Beeb"!!
I can't recall it being screened over here on the ordinary terrestrial TV, but I'll certainly keep a check on whether it will be shown, as I'd like to see it.
ITV did start to show a very promising series about Monarch, but for some reason known only to themselves, they suddenly stopped showing it!
, and they repeated the not-as-good series about EasyJet instead

The Voice of Freedom will never be silenced.

Oooh come on VC-10, if you're talking rubbish TV you ain't seen nothing with the BBC
. Most of the time their programmes are really interesting and this is yet another example. After all, it was the BBC that came up with the Airshow and Reaching for the Skies wasn't it? We don't get ITV over here (except on the coast if I'm not mistaken) so I'm not in a position to judge their shows but forget anything even vaguely related to aeronautics on the channels we get over here.
Many happy landings,

you can visit bbc.co.uk and type in 'whistleblower' in the search field, there are comments from lots of different people as well as comments from viewers too.
the bbc also ran a programme about the frailties of the uk atc system a few years ago, can't remeber the name, but they were accused of sensationalism and fabrication
