Yorkshire Jet by MD-11

Post by Comet »

Bart (MD-11) gave us a drawing of Jet2's "Yorkshire Jet" as a souvenir of the 12th September spotting meet. I promised I would scan it and upload to Luchtzak for everyone else to see. This beautiful drawing is the "sign" that Andre mentions in his recent flight report, which VC10 was holding at the airport when we met him.

Thanks again for this drawing Bart, from Comet and VC10.

The picture has now gone to the shop to be put into a frame, and should be back with us in around a week or so.

Beautiful drawing, Bart! :)

Have you ever thought of a sideline as an Aviation Artist?

You have the talent to be one, and from the size of this community here, a good market for them as well!

I have more aviation art on my website if you would like to check them out, as well as interact with other established and aspiring aviation artists from around the world.

Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing more! :D

The picture came back from the shop this afternoon mounted in a nice black frame. It is now on the wall, and I was going to take a photo to display on the forum when my camera broke. I will post a photo of the picture in its new frame when I have a camera again.
