MD-11 for Exel aviation group

The Exel Aviation Group is looking for 2 MD-11 planes for his Holland Exel and Dutch Carribean Exel department. They will replace the B 767 on the Carribean / Florida / Cuba routes.

The Exel Aviation Group has interest for used Swiss and Delta MD-11`s

this was mentioned on a German spotters forum

That would be a nice improvement indeed. Unfortunately, BelgiumExel will not be part of the picture

Today, I noticed on BRU-website that HXL is using an A330-200 for their flight to Dominican Republic:

via Punta Cana

Anyone who knows more about this aircraft or has pics ?

It's an A332 of Air Caraibes.

Nice to see that some MD-11's will still have a future for a couple of years.

But since the planes from the dutch subsidary are flying regularely out of BRU (at least I see them more often the the BelgiumExel planes) this will mean that we might get some MD11 pax planes in BRU again in the future 8)
