Jep, I just checked it too. It probably is sold out. Also if you look at the prices from BRU-VLC on the days before the game the prices are already really high in Vueling standarts, 135 EUR one way without taxes. So I guess Anderlecht supporters found their way to Vueling! This is good, they will after that make good promotion to friends about this company!! I think for Vueling it couldn't have been a better lottery for dividing the groups of the Champions League. After that all the Valencian Supporters will come with Vueling to Brussels. So will get their little chair of profit from these games!!

With easy connections to/from Brussels? That could mean serious competition for SN BA...

Vueling Airlines news.

Post by themole »

A few days ago, somebody asked me if Vueling Airlines would continue to operate its Brussels services to Barcelona and Valencia or not. I contacted my managerial colleagues of Vueling Airlines, and received some good news. Vueling Airlines is doing fairly well on its Brussels routes, and will continue to serve both Barcelona and Valencia.

The ‘new’ Brussels schedules will be:

Barcelona - Brussels: 0700 - 0905.
Brussels - Valencia: 0950 - 1205.
Valencia - Brussels: 1240 - 1455.
Brussels - Barcelona: 1540 - 1750.

All schedules are subject to change of course.

Nice that they will stay in Brussels!
But what will happen if VEX starts its flights to VLC?

In an other topic Vueling wrote that they had a loadfactor
between 50 and 70 % on the Brussels routes.

I hope that I can fly with Vueling next summer to VLC, otherwise
I will fly with my fav spanish carrier Iberia

I wonder what will happen on Spain´s most busy route, Barcelona-Madrid... Iberia was the first to start the famous puente aéreo (air bridge), and now also Air Europa and Spanair have many daily flights. Obviously Vueling´s frequencies on this route will be limited (for now), but I think they still might get a good share of the pax here.

Is itthe same plane that will fly BCN-MAD and v/v to complete its daily schedule?
