Thank you very much for letting me know when you sent it, I, in return, will let you know when it arrives in my letter box; it will most likely be sent snail-mail (surface mail) , but I will keep my fingers crossed it doesn't go too far off course! I hope they send it on a fast boat :D .

Luckily the T-shirts weren't posted on Friday 13th! That could have been an extra delay on the way to NZ. Instead of three weeks delivery-time it would be three years!! :jump:

You are probably right there, Rago, I am waiting with baited breath for it to come all the way down to NZ, as soon as it arrives I will put it's ATA up on this forum, so that Luchtzak will be happy that it arrived without him having to go into bankruptcy for the price of sending it!

I have just collected my tee shirt from downstairs mail boxes, and it's a beauty - thanks Bart!

Just a small point - the aircraft on the photo is the one I flew on between BRU and BHX, so that makes it extra special! (OO-DWH for anyone who has not seen the picture close up!)

I will wear it on my flights (and hopefully on 12th September if the weather is not too cold).
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

Maybe you will get your tee shirt later this week bigjulie. It has certainly been very efficient getting here.

Now I am hoping we get the aircraft in the tee shirt photo on one of our flights, especially if I am wearing the tee shirt at the time. And Dexter the Labrador had a good sniff at the package as I was opening it, he is always the same if we get a parcel, he probably thinks it is something for him because we have a friend who sometimes sends him meaty dog treats in the post

And if you look closely you'll see a reflection of the S-tail in the water underneath in the picture.

Yes, I noticed that detail when I had the tee shirt out of the packet earlier to have a closer look, I think it adds to the photo alot.

Now all I need is a flight to wear it on.

You just may well guess that I am a happy Kiwi; the t-shirt arrived this afternoon, just as I was going out to pick up justy & take him somewhere, so I grabbed the parcel put it in the car & picked justy up, & showed him the t-shirt thereby fulfilling what I said a while ago that he would be the second person in NZ to see that t-shirt ! It is a very good shirt, thank you very, very much to everybody involved in this whole saga ! :drink:  :drink:  :drink:

That's fast, bigjulie! Did it come by regular post, airmail, courrier, any other method?

Indeed not bad: Belgium - NZ in two weeks. Sometimes, here in Belgium, it takes 2 weeks to deliver a normal letter, even if the addressee lives in the same village :p

I was very lucky to get mine, we had a very close shave last week! When we went out to the shops, we saw the pushchair parked outside the ground floor flat, which meant that the thieving brats were visiting. Thankfully I had got to the post box before they could!
