OO-DJF Abnormal Landing 8-7-2004
While spotting next to runway 2, I witnessed this landing! Anyone familiar with that area should see what is not normal with it.

The pilot did not go around. I have seen many Avros go in and I assume most went to Pier A, they have alway landed in the norms. I don't think they would do this just to shorten taxi time, if that was the case, then we would be seeing more planes doing this, and we don't. Its great to be a part of this forum!
I don't think the landing was done for convience, again as I said, if that were the case then there would be more Avros doing this. At BRU, all the terminals are relatively close to the runways, so I would think there wouldn't be a need to do something like that.B737229 wrote:I would think if going to pier A the pilot would make a long landing run, applying no breaks.. untill the end
This, high approach, probably is the result of an visual approach..
