Seats of Sabena's A330-300

Hi All,

Katje and I bought Club Class seats of the A330-300 from Sabena today.

They are still in very good condition. The seats were removed in 2000 from the aircrafts to install the retrofit seats that are still in use in the actual A330 of Birdy untill they will have their new retrofit after SNBA takes over Birdy.
The seats haven't been used since then so the only thing we will have to to is remove the dust from the seatcushons.

Damn it's nice to have such a confortable seats in our house.

I could be paying with a couple more Jupilers

But then I wouldn't know where to put it right now....

Are those seats expensive, or are they just throwing them away (if that's not too much information without a jupiler

)

They are still in excellent shape exept for the dust. They have only be used for 2 years but are in the basement since 2000.

Where are they for sale?

How much do they ask for a pair of seats?

Are these the seats that cost 300 Euros and where for sale at the Sabena House next to General Aviation? I went there and got a set of the Sabena A330 seats as well!

Well no, correction: my question is: when will you invite me to try those seats out, of course accompanied with a Brussels Bistro being served when I try those seats out

Lucky guy! I was looking for some Sabena and Swissair gear on the internet, and I found the information for the seat sale. Unfortunately, it looks like you have to pick up the seats in person. Otherwise I would purchase a pair of seats in a second.

I can't imagine what the cost would be to ship two airline seats to the USA, although airlines ship thousands of airline seats across the ocean every day!

I am so glad you're telling this. Because it is more than ten years after Mr Godfroid, the CEO ordered a study about the seats in the A340.
And I was in charge of that comparative study.
The odd thing is I never travelled in these seats.
So could anybody tell me if there is a big difference between the A340 and the A330 SN business seat?
