I think Malaysia Airlines has the worst airline website.

I would have to say http://www.usairways.com is the worst. It has no information about the history of the airline.

I think the best airline website is http://www.midwestairlines.com because it is the exact oppisite of US Airways' website.

Not necessarily the worst airline website but most definitely the slowest airline website to load in the World.

www.airzim.co.zw - Official website of Air Zimbabwe. Takes up to 20 seconds for the website to open and even at that point all the icons/pictures don't even appear (even though I'm using broadband). I don't think they will offer online booking as it will take you longer to book than actual flight ;-)

Not really the airlines fault but reason it's so slow is that the telecoms in Zimbabwe are not very fast and reliable.

Worth a mention.

I just found my worst airline website...www.egyptair.com
So poor man!! It's slow and it doesn't "invite" you to take a closer look at the airline and its service.
3000 years ago they were THE nation of the world but when I see their website now...man they are falling deeper and deeper !

By the way the website address is www.egyptair.com.eg and not .com
Someone bought the .com domain and this is unrelated to their airline.

You would at least think that they could have got their lawyers to repossess that domain name. I guess it just shows you that they do not place much importance to their website which is very poor.

Ow it's like that...
If they don't use their laywers it's indeed a sign they don't care about it very much. It's their bussines, not mine.

For me the worst airline website I've used is the Iberia one. Last time I accessed it, half the links were not working and it just looked unattractive. I like the Belgian carriers websites - flysn.co.uk and flyvlm.com.

The ba.com is a comprehensive website, but it is confusing! I have looked through their online booking engine and online timetable just now to try and get some info for flights I will make later in the year, and after looking through both pages I was none the wiser and my query is still unanswered! All I was trying to find out was whether the flight I am going on, which has a BA code number, is operated by British Airways or another airline. The online booking said the flight was operated by BA, the online timetable said it was operated by another carrier. Checking other sources to find out about the flight has also left me none the wiser :?
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

Actually the website of Sudan Airways is http://www.sudanair.com

I'm still voting for http://www.airalgerie.dz as their timetables are not updated since March 2002. Not the way it should be for a state carrier I think...

I visit regular airline sites, and the worst one is definately Eritrean Airlines (http://www.ertra.com/eal/eal.htm). The intro looks very original, but the rest is nothing. There is also another site (http://www.eritrean-airlines.com/), but that one doesn't work. ;)

Wow, so many of the websites listed here are shocking.

Maybe there is money to be made by approaching these airlines as website designer. A complete new look + ease of navigation would be helpfull. Also hosting the sites in countries with good telecoms infrastructure + high speed lines is also something worth considering.

Oops. SOrry - you are right. It is bad though.....

Actually given that they are supposed to be a quality airline - MEA's website isn't terribly good. Same for Qatar (and they are quality - been on em) - unless they have updated recently....
