Muchos gracias! Now I see that Karl ILS25L also mentioned the type in his topic: https://www.aviation24.be/modules.php?name ... 5979#45979

Thanks anyway! :drink:

Funny, that name "Avanti" when the propellers are in the back!

It looks like the plane (don't know it's name) that sold so bad the builders just desided it what cheaper to buy back and scrap all planes, than it was to maintain the entire fleet with spares... Could it be one of the few that are still flying or do I have an other plane in mind?
I believe there was STAR in it's name, so I guess it's an other one, anyone know what I'm talking about?
thanks!

Hi everyone,

Buzz, it's the Beech Starship you're looking for. Was a stunning aircraft but, as you said, Raytheon, who now owns Beech, decided that it was cheaper to scrap all the existing aircraft rather than to continue manufacturing spare parts. Guess what... the owners of the Starships were offered new King Airs in exchange. Only five declined the offer (no kidding!) :p

Many happy landings,
