I saw a spotter taking a picture of this one when the 727 took of runway 20 at BRU. He was standing at the taxi-waiting-area near the old C-terminal. Anyone?

Robin,

Nicely done, if only the weather ....

A year ago I saw this bird in Alicante (05/07/2003) The name of this bird is "Djurdjura". It's painted below the cockpit windows. Unfortunately my cam was in my bag :(

Best Regards
Raymond

Thanks for your kind words Raymond

Sorry for my late answer but I wasn't online for a couple of days because my computer was in reparation after a lot of problems last week.

The standard equipment of flight AH2064 from Oran is the B736 (according to BIAC).

I doubt if the B727 would become the standard equipment (Brussels is quite famous for the protests against noisy airplanes, and a B727 is not the most silent aircraft...)

Maybe some of their B736's are currently in maintenance and therefore they have to send an old B727 (just an assumption). By the way, most of their 727's are currently for sale.

But it would be great, that's for sure ! I love those old smokey birds
