True! But Belgium did beat Holland in Eindhoven one month ago. Had they been in, they would certainly have played better....

Pity that Belgium started to play well when it was too late.

After the 3-0 victory of Czechia over Denmark, we know the final four: Portugal, Greece, The Netherlands a,d the Czech republic.

From these four, Czechia is the most impressive team, and Milan Baros is the most prolific player.

I see the Czech Republic win the Euro 2004.

The Czechs seem to have played very well - the surprise of the tournament (I knew there would be some surprises in this one!)

I keep thinking that maybe Portugal will benefit from having the home advantage, like France in the 1998 world cup.

The Czech Team is by far the best team, followed in my opinion by Portugal and Greece.I just hope that Greece will not make the same mistakes as Denmark.

He he! The Portuguese were so strong that they even scored FOR the Netherlands.

The Dutch were so week that they needed a Portuguese player to score for them. It was a beautiful lob by Andrade!

England suffered more sporting humiliation yesterday as "Tiger" ( :?: ) Tim Henman was knocked out of Wimbledon quarter finals by an unknown Croatian. Henman has never got further than a semi-final in his entire career, so how anyone could have expected him to suddenly go and win Wimbledon at 29 is beyond me!

And the Croatian was much better looking than Henman anyway

Tonight we will find out who joins Portugal in the Euro 2004 final.

I really enjoyed the game yesterday-evening! I even forgot to update this topic 8)

Too bad for Holland but to be honest you can't have luck all the time ;-) If you only win 1 game in 4 matches you are not a real candidate for the title...

If I were to place a serious bet on the outcome of Euro 2004, I would say Portugal will now win it. They have the home advantage and most of the support, that must give the players an enormous psychological boost.

I wouldn't like to bet on who will win tonight's semi final though.

IL62M - may you continue enjoying the good atmosphere you just described! Greece too have a good team, they have got this far in the competition, they are in with as much chance as anyone.

As a total neutral regarding tonight's game, all I can say is "may the best team win"! :kvole:

Almost forgot:

We are out

:jump2:

Why didn't the portugese players made that 2nd goal for us?
They had energy enough to help us there :D

It was a nice game and we have to be satisfied with the half final, we were there longer then the Germans and the French, so for the dutch feeling we already did a great job.
May the best team win!

I really hope that Portugal will win this final.

They play a great football and really deserve to win it. Greece has allready won a lot by getting that far in the competition.

It's the first time in the history of the EC that the opening match is the same as the final (Portugal-Greece).

Both teams never won a final yet, so I'm hoping the best for both teams.

Regards, Robin Bamps.
