did ur FS9 ran well before? if it did, try a reinstall.
No you dont have to reinstall FS2002. FS9 runs on its own.

Maybe you installed one or other add on that requires some changes in the .cfg file and that might cause the crashes

Problems with FS2004?

Post by Simcaptain »

I have found that FS2004 can be tough on older computers or computers that are under powered. Make sure you are running at least a P4 (2+GHz) with a minimum of 512 Mb of RAM. A high end Graphics card (at least 128Mb). I would also suggest that you check your hard drive for errors and that there is sufficient space. Make sure it is at least 7200 rpm. These requirements are not set in stone but if none of these suggestions work, have the program replaced. It may be flawed.
Good luck. (by the way, I am a computer engineer)
