FlightLevel provides more information :

"Air Congo plans to launch its first long-haul route between Kinshasa and Brussels starting July 1. According to our information, there will be five weekly flights (not on Tuesdays and Thursdays), and these will be operated with a Boeing 787-8 from Ethiopian Airlines. The new route would depart Kinshasa in the evening (22:00) and arrive in Brussels in the morning (07:00). At 10:00, the Dreamliner will depart again for Kinshasa, arriving there at 17:05"
The reservations are open since today
Something to add. In 2025, there were 85.150 pax two-way between BRU and Kinshasa. 40% was point to point while the majority was connecting via BRU. The top 3 was Paris, Geneva and Montreal.

Since the start of the summer season I noticed there is a flight to and from Skopje every monday morning operated by freebird Airlines. Is this an new flight or did I miss something (not sure if there are more flights during the week)
Also this week : every morning a bru-bratislava flight by Brussels airlines, outbound sn11?? flight nr, inbound sn99?? Special charter flights?

Both were charters. Skopje ended last Monday (11st) and Bratislava today (15th).

Royal Air Maroc suspends 12 routes, including : Marrakech–Brussels.

The airline said the increase in fuel costs, linked to tensions in the MiddleEast, is putting pressure on operations, forcing it to adjust parts of its flight network.
The measure is temporary, with RAM expected to reassess the affected routes depending on market conditions and fuel price developments.

It appears Air Sénégal will stop Dakar from May 30th.

And curious how long Air Congo will stay. SN is really strong. Air Congo doesn't have a clear business case.

Maybe if they could add Paris or Vienna to it, it would be more volatile. Just like Ethiopian and Rwandair are doing.

But, on the other side, during the morning, the check in for Air Sénégal is always very crowded.

Surely as they were supposed to double the frequency, maybe a lease issue.
