Re: Brussels Airlines in 2026
Point to point market btw Algiers and Brussels was 72 217 pax in 2024. It's quite high, but far away from Casablanca, Tunis, Marrakesh or Tangier, but ahead Cairo.
Top 10 point to point market between North Africa and Brussels (2024):
Tangier : 221 759 pax
Casablanca : 173 517 pax
Nador: 165 547 pax
Marrakesh: 159 952 pax
Hurghada: 156 334 pax
Tunis: 127 422 pax
Oujda: 98 960 pax
Djerba: 76 475 pax
Algier: 72 217 pax
Cairo: 60 584 pax.
My bet (but i m probably wrong) is that TUI or Air Algerie will start flights from Algerian secondaries cities (Constantine and Oran are already served but flights could be served, Annaba, Batna, Béjaïa,..) or Belgium secondaries cities (Antwerp, Ostend Bruges).
TUIFly will rely on the point to point while Air Algerie could use its ALG hub to West Africa & Central Africa (Senegal, Burkina Faso, Guinea Conakry, Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Nigeria) for the West and Central African diaspora living in Antwerp, Ostend & Bruges.
And probably Air Algerie will add more flights to BRU.

Papa is on the way to Hong Kong. it's the fourth for C-check after E,X and C. Concerning new livery for D,G and F, painting will be done in Chateauroux depending on when they need to be repainted.

Correct. I apologize for switching E and B. Thanks for the correction.

I never understood why they didn't choose Orly; it's so much easier to use. And closer to the city?
Hasta la victoria siempre.

The ad has been withdrawn, under political pressure in favour of Eurostar trains for environmental reasons.

Because the connecting flights are at both ends. BRU with SN and CDG with UAlumumba wrote: 24 Feb 2026, 21:15I never understood why they didn't choose Orly; it's so much easier to use. And closer to the city?

Following the article on the main page: https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/luft ... s-airport/
It's about time that rail and air are integrated in a single ticket. I hope for SN this will be a success and the start of more direct rail links with the airport. I remember with the announcement of ICE, there was also an option to extend the line all the way to Rotterdam. That would be nice as well.
Also, I think Dusseldorf, Paris (again) and Amsterdam (again) should be connected to the airport as well.
But it won't come from Eurostar, as they seem to favour Air France - KLM.
