Both Airports , Brugge-Oostende and Antwerp certainly have a future . In a not so far future airlines will be flying more efficient and silent aircraft.
In 20 years from now they will fly electrical and then it will be clear that regional airports are very important.
Ostend is a pure touristic airport, that should also bring more tourist to Bruges and flemish town, not only southwards to Spain etc Cargo can
be more developed.
ANR with its short runway could become
Also important hub with connections to bigger hubs.
ANR should involve its big business people, who spend their fortune on old buildings now, instead of thinking more about economic development.
Antwerp is always relying on subsidies
from rest pf Flanders (the parking).
Time for them to wake up.
