Brussels Airlines, will continue it’s long term partnership with Sunweb and Corendon with the renewal of the contract for 3 more years untill S28.

Of course there is an expansion, and it has been already announced.

On the short/medium haul sector:

-17 extra weekly flights to Spain and Portugal (Barcelone, Alicante, Málaga and Porto) with late arrival and early departure in Barcelone (nightstop)

-Copenhague 5 extra weekly flights

-Prague 4 extra weekly flights

-Budapest 2 extra weekly flights

There are 3 new A320neo (OO-SBF; OO-SBG; OO-SBH) replacing 2 smaller A319. This is one extra aircraft and bigger capacity.

No new destination does not mean "no expansion" the focus this year on the short and medium haul sector is to add extra capacity on the existing network.

I think only OO-SNJ is still wearing the "old" livery with the dotted b-tail?
Or will it be an A330? OO-SFD, SFF and SFG? Would be nice to see an A330...

I personally hope they keep -SNJ in the old livery. It'd be nice to have at least one narrow-body left with the iconic b-tail.

But of course it would make the most sense to repaint that one into a special livery...

There is no plan for any special livery on A330’s as the A330 are most of the time in flight and mostly on outstation during hours of darkness. It can then only be seen in Brussels during day time (And JFK and IAD in Summer) so not worth it at all. Special livery Will mostly be on A320´s only.

It could be the brand new SBG, A320 neo, who will be delivered in February.

I wouldn't expect that. SBG is already painted in Hamburg, in what looks to be an updated livery. (see my exchange with Miqvell in the fleet renewal topic on 19 dec) So it probably doesn't make sense to repaint her as a Belgian icon .
