Re: BRU Winter 2025 - 2026: news, new routes, airlines
I'm wondering what eqv HC will use:their complete fleet is allmost grounded all the time, they lease a 772 from MYWAY Georgie ( for CDG service)and have 3 A320leased from Getjet for regional services...Don't know if these can make it to BRU!
Re: BRU Winter 2025 - 2026: news, new routes, airlines
Indeed, it is an Airbus A320 that will operate the Dakar-Brussels route !

I doubt this will be possible, probably not even with just pax and their lugguage so let alone cargo.
Re: BRU Winter 2025 - 2026: news, new routes, airlines
Shouldn’t be a problem for a NEO, limit for a CEO.HQ_BRU_Lover wrote: ↑14 Nov 2025, 10:25I doubt this will be possible, probably not even with just pax and their lugguage so let alone cargo.

Well correct I was indeed only referring to a CEO, don't know about the NEO but can imagine there's a difference. Good point here.fcw wrote: ↑14 Nov 2025, 13:53Shouldn’t be a problem for a NEO, limit for a CEO.HQ_BRU_Lover wrote: ↑14 Nov 2025, 10:25I doubt this will be possible, probably not even with just pax and their lugguage so let alone cargo.

Not nonstop! Those flights made a fueling stop in AGP, unless if it was a positioning flight without payload.
Re: BRU Winter 2025 - 2026: news, new routes, airlines
At Gambia Bird Airlines (Germania) we used to fly from London to Freetown non stop
Re: BRU Winter 2025 - 2026: news, new routes, airlines
Thanks to early information, Air China is expected to launch Beijing on January 2nd, 4x weekly.
CA963 would arrive in BRU at 20:20 and leave as CA964 at 22:00, which would be the latest long-haul flight from the airport.
This also means PEK would become double-daily (with Hainan Airlines) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday - a total of 28x weekly to China.

And start to be a nice long haul evening wave.Miqvell wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025, 21:25 Thanks to early information, Air China is expected to launch Beijing on January 2nd, 4x weekly.

And the highest number of long haul we have ever. Even before 2019 we didn't had this amount of flights

And this would further strengthen our Star Alliance hub. Out of 24 airlines without SN, there would be 16 of them.Atlantis wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025, 21:40And start to be a nice long haul evening wave.Miqvell wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025, 21:25 Thanks to early information, Air China is expected to launch Beijing on January 2nd, 4x weekly.

Other realistic misses are Air India, Asiana Airlines, Avianca, Eva Air and perhaps Shenzhen Airlines.

Do we know the plane?
But arriving at 20h20 is a bit late to use Brussels has a hub?
Hasta la victoria siempre.

I would say: "keep an eye on one of them"Miqvell wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025, 22:00And this would further strengthen our Star Alliance hub. You still have a few feeder flights to Europe (LHR, CPH, MAD, BER, ...).lumumba wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025, 22:32Nice !

Nice to see Air China coming to BRU. Did they also not mention some time ago they would open Brussels-Chengdu? That would be a nice addition as well ...Miqvell wrote: ↑24 Nov 2025, 21:25 Thanks to early information, Air China is expected to launch Beijing on January 2nd, 4x weekly.

On the other hand: it seems more competition on an existing route and also the announcement is on very short notice; if they still need to start selling tickets that is a bit late, no?
Just my 2 cents
