Poland is building a strong hub airport for LOT and there will be little incentives for his type of airline.

He likes only "lost places" where he is getting subsidies to put a "nowhere" on the map or speculates on local pride.
A new airport might be needed but as big as CPK, never.

LOT received a huge investment from the government. The total fleet will grow to 140 planes whereas 31 long haul. They will stay with the B787, even they have difficulties with it, and shorthaul will be or A220 or the E2. But they will receive soon already some E2. Probably short haul will be that type

Do you have link, i can't find this information.

Beacause i see 110 planes by 2028 (vs 75 late 2023) and the article was published in Oct 23, which is quite realistic. 140 ? You don't put the date so we don't know on which year they plan to reach 140 aircraft in their fleet.

Please consider that in this time frame also replacement of aircraft may be needed.
So likely the 110 aircraft are fine, there may be some upside , but the investment would include replacement needs as well. The oldest( first Embraers are already 20 years old).

In a new communication from the Polish Government, explaining they will proceed with the major new airport project, LOT (a state-owned airline) forecasts that it will have 135 aircraft by 2032.

And yes, they did it. LOT Polish Airlines goes for Airbus.
They signed the contract for 40 A220-100 and -300. This will replace their ageing Embraer fleet and for expansion

They have quite some issues with their B787. Since the beginning as a matter of fact.
On the other hand, 2 of those B787 went to Lufthansa.

One comes and one goes. San Francisco will be a new destination for LOT next year, but at the same time, Beijing will disappear as destination

And also here they failed. It was yesterday already known, but it was waiting for the official announcement today. Pegasus Airlines will take them over
