Bomb threat forces evacuation of Brussels–Berlin flight at Brussels Airport
A bomb threat targeting Brussels Airlines flight SN2581 to Berlin (to be operated by airBaltic A220-300 registered YL-ABB) prompted a full evacuation at Brussels Airport on Wednesday morning.

Federal police alerted the airport to a “potential threat” before the 09:25 departure. The aircraft was moved to a secure area, and all passengers and crew were safely evacuated.

Police are currently searching the plane, though the threat has not been confirmed. Airport operations remain unaffected.

Both the outbound flight to Berlin and the return flight to Brussels have been cancelled.

Update: after a car chase, the Belgian Police has arrested a (Belgian) female citizen for this bomb threat:

The SN241 trip to Freetown & Monrovia ended in Versailles. OO-SFC took the whole length of RWY25R before vacating.
