It's Chinese new year on 17th February. All, or almost all, business is closed. Also in cargo is very low demand.
The weeks before and after is still very calm.

No surprise here

Following Athens last year, Brussels Airlines will now annualise Florence, just as Vueling recently did.

Tough decision. It will be quite hard to compete against the NYC-BRU A++ powerhouse.

It depends on JFK there is only one flight per day( even less) plus American has a big hub there I think, also it's a 155 seater.

American Airlines' major hub is in London, knowing that an ETA is required even for transit, they are at a disadvantage.

I read that of you are ETA eligible and stay airside in LHR, you don't need an ETA...

That's not what my travel agent told me!

My travel agency advises me to do it, there have been too many problems, just called.

But you are right.

Last connected to JFK via LHR in May-June, no need for ETA if you stay airside, incl. between terminals.

There is still space to run such a operation. NY is one of the best LH and it's a premium one.
SN is not flying daily on it and on top of it, it's many times cancelled bcs of operational reasons.

A new player American player is more than welcome. I prefer AA then Jetblue

Wrong. There’s only one flight in December and it's linked to the UEFA Champions League.
