It will be interesting to see how New York will perform from ex-BRU. Figures are dropping down bcs of the trade war and the much severe entry rules. Belgians are thinking twice to go there or not, but the first signs are visible.

SN will reduce the frequency on the IAD route from 18th Sep till 26th Sep from 5 to 3 flights a week. United will be happy 😉

I see that Delta is operating a flight between Brussels and Catania today, with the 767 that came from Atlanta. Does anyone know why they are operating this flight today?
On FR24, the flight from BRU to ATL is cancelled today, could this be a ferry flight to CTA, so they can operate a scheduled flight from there to ATL/JFK?

It means that SN will not operate two (02) flights during that 8-day span?
:?

Probably related to this ;) . On some days in Sept, there will be 2 flights a day to Kigali. Some members of forum told me it was about the 2025 UCI Road World Championships in Rwanda.

On SN website

rwandan-flyer wrote: 15 Mar 2025, 00:27 It seems that in Sept25, Brussels Airlines will operate on some days 2 flights a day to Kigali. Anyone knows why ? On bookings engine serach the 1st flight of the day is SN 461 or 491, thus not 2 SN 467 flight number in the same day.

Dates : 19 sept, 20 sept, 29 sept & 30 sept

On 20 Sept & 30 Sept there will be 3 direct flights (x2 with Brussels Airlines and 1 with RwandAir) from Brussels to Kigali. I know that BRU is the biggest point to point market for Kigali outside Africa with Dubai, but 2 flights a day with SN even with connecting pax it's huge.

Plenty choices to fly from BRU to KGL on these days : Brussels Airlines, KLM, Ethiopian, Egytpair, Qatar Airways (they will resume flights to KGL from May 2025 using the flight number that they have used in the past to KGL)or RwandAir (there is also Turkish Airlines) 8-)

The Delta 767 flew to Catania to replace DL245, which was stranded there today due to an emergency slide issue. The aircraft that came from BRU will operate DL9900 back to JFK tomorrow as a recovery flight.

It seems the demand is there, till the end of august Etihad is upgrading to an B777-300ER on 5 of the 7 weekly flights.

I noticed Qatar Airways also upgraded the route on selected days to the B777-300ER

Air Greenland doesn't have any B737-800 in its fleet. Which aircraft will operate these charter flights?
